Born and raised in Pennsylvania, Stacy made her way to New York to study fashion design at The Fashion Institute of Technology.  After graduating, Stacy honed her skills and refined her craft in New York's garment center where she worked for over fifteen years as a designer for several sportswear, outerwear and knitwear companies.  From 2005-2008 Stacy served as design director at Joan Vass.  Catering to private clients since her departure from Vass, she took the leap in September 2010 to launch her signature collection during New York Fashion Week.

After just eighteen months in business, Stacy was nominated and selected as a finalist for the Fashion Group International's, 2012 Rising Star Awards in womenswear.  She has also been featured twice in Women's Wear Daily, interviewed by the Huffington Post and one of her pieces was chosen by as one of their picks for "sexy runway moments" from Spring 2011.

Streamlined geometry and innovative fabrics come together to create body-confident designs. Stacy's aesthetic is minimalistic -- she concentrates on strong, angular shapes and clean lines that strike a good balance between edgy/sexy and saleable/wearable.  Her pieces attract a refined, yet bold woman who appreciates the chicness of simple shapes that are not overworked or overly-embellished.  Strength and structure are juxtaposed with sensuality and femininity.  Trend is transcended with a modern sophistication that flatters and empowers the headstrong woman.

Stacy’s influences range from: sculptor Constantin Brâncusi, architect Frank Lloyd Wright and artist Egon Schiele to Sex Pistols punk, Missing Persons new wave and Bowie glam.  Fashion favorites include: James Galanos, Claire McCardell, Madame Grès, Coco Chanel, Paco Rabanne, Gianfranco Ferré, Geoffrey Beene and Claude Montana.
